This image has to be one of my favorites of all time. It really paints the picture of what the mountainous regions of lower Germany, Austria, and Switzerland are like. The green everywhere you look, the mountains in every backdrop, and old style chalet style homes and buildings in every open area. It’s so picturesque in every possible way! This photo just outside the Edelweiss Lodge in Garmish, Germany.
The beautiful North Lake Tahoe Sunset. This was an incredible spot with little foot traffic and outstanding views on all sides. This one bench stood all alone on this pier gave a breathtaking view to the West toward the coast of California, where you will some of the best sunsets in the entire country! If you scroll down a little, you will see the pinkish sunset view that this location gives you.
One of the coolest tools I’ve gotten to push my photography was the lensball. It’s so versatile! Especially in the way that it allows you to see the image up close, but also see the blurred version of the exact same image in the background. This image shows the cityscape of downtown Doha, Qatar through the eye of the lensball.
Similar to the image above, this North Lake Tahoe image gives a much cooler, bluer view of the same pier. If the pink and orange color pallet doesn’t suit your decor, this will give you a duller pastel style photo for wall art in any room. The landscape of Lake Tahoe is perfect for any decor in your location!
During a trip through Europe, we stayed at the Edelweiss Lodge in Garmisch, Germany, for a few nights. One of the many adventures we traveled through was the Partnach Gorge, which is an amazing rockfaced valley with a rapid flowing river pushing through it. This image was taken from the walking path along the side of the gorge that took us through several waterfalls and an absolutely amazing view before reaching the base of several hiking paths. If you’re ever in southern Germany (or northern Austria), this is an absolute must see!
I love greyscale photos; they have a sense relaxation associated to them. When I look at this photo, it just makes me want to sit in the woods and enjoy the atmosphere. This was taken at a forest park in Augusta, Georgia along a walking path.
I had the chance to live in Qatar for about a year, and the architecture there is outstanding! This is the seven star Katara Hotel located in Lusail, just north of the capital of Doha and the city where the FIFA World Cup Final will be played next week!
During a trip to Niagara Falls, while on the Maid of the Mist on the bottom of the falls on the Niagara River, I was able to capture this panoramic. It’s an amazing experience to see such water power!
This is one of my favorite photos ever captured. I was just learning to use my 70-200mm lens and toying around with aperture to try and understand the bokeh background style. I was able to capture this beautiful flower with perfect detail and an amazing blurred effect in the background.
Of all the places I’ve been in my life, not much compares in beauty to the mountains of Switzerland. The colors and views you see in the Reels, photos, videos, etc. of these areas are just a small taste of what this country has to offer. This photo is just up the Bernese Alps from Mürren, an amazing little village with great food and some of the most amazing hiking paths you’ll ever find. I took this photo on our hike down from the flower park in Allmendhubel after reaching the peak of Schilthorn. Switzerland very quickly became the most amazing country I’ve ever visited, and it was because of views like this everywhere you look.
Sometimes it’s the simplest things in nature that stand out the most. This berry bush has seen a few things, probably bugs and weather, but it still finds a way to grow into an amazing specimen with some of the most profound colors.
Around every body of water there is some type of rock, whether large or small. These were the perfect types of rocks to skip across the flat Lake Tahoe surface, and watching the boys spend so many hours over the years do just this, is a memory that will stay forever.
Costa Rica is built of endless beauty across the entire country. In the central area of the country, in the parks and natural forestry, there are groups of waterfalls and trails for miles. This one, La Paz Waterfall Gardens, had some absolutely incredible hiking areas built for the beginner and expert alike.
Santa Cruz, California, may get all the love when speaking of the Northern Monterey Bay, but the smaller city of Capitola just to the west may have the upper hand on the scenery! Known for it’s colorful buildings along the beach line, this photo was taken of an apartment building with stunning purple balcony rails on the stone patios. This town is so peaceful and quiet, and the food is outstanding! Central California is one of the most naturally fascinating locations in the entire world with Yosemite National Park, Lake Tahoe, the Redwoods, and the Sequoias, so finding a way here is very easy, and worth your time for a vacation.
The wildflowers of Oroville, California. Table Mountain in Northern California every year blooms thousands of wildflowers for miles. This image is of the many lupins that cover the entire mountain top, with the peak bloom season in March and April. Such an incredible sight to see!
One of my favorite locations in the USA is Lake Tahoe, California. It’s one of the most beautiful places in the world, where the air feels so crisp and clean with every breath, you can watch the sunsets for what seems like hours, and has arguably the best slopes in the western world. One of my favorite pastimes of the past decade was taking the boys there several times a year just to watch them throw rocks into the lake, inner tube down the icy hills, and hike the trails of Squaw Valley in the summer.
One of my favorite types of photos to shoot is panoramics. You can encapsulate so much into a single photo and they are so easy to hang on those long walls (finding auto-fulfillment companies to purchase these can be difficult though, so if you want a copy send me a DM). This pano is of Downtown Omaha, taken from the Iowa side of the Missouri River. It has three key Omaha landmarks in it: The One First National Center (on the left and the tallest building in Omaha), the Bob Kerrey Walking Bridge (on the right with the blue light, and it has a troll…if you can find it! 🙂 ), and the CHI Center (directly in the middle, which has some amazing events!).
Paris…oh Paris. Some would say that it’s not the best city in the world for several reasons, but in the three times I’ve had a chance to visit, it’s been nothing but good to me. Sure it can get busy with a lot of tourists, but there is so much to see, do, eat, drink, and just enjoy! And Disney Paris was amazing! This shot was taken after sunset and right before the sparkling light display. I love the way the clouds form the texture in the background and allow the lights on the tower to pop. No matter your thoughts on visiting such a bustling place, the architectural scenery here is unmatched.
The one lone duck deciding to take the river on its own. It’s a perfect and calming spot for it, and it’s easy to enjoy the time spent near the water, with nature and its wildlife. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to capture this one, in all of its peacefulness.

Follow the yellow…wooden road? In the forest of Augusta, Georgia, this wooden walking trail split the trees for a peaceful stroll through the woods. The yellow painted planks made for a nice blend of colors to capture during the outing.
